Myself and Irish artist Éilis Ní Fhaoláin took our studio exchange as the beginning of a story line from either side of the Irish Sea. The result of this was our “visual fact-finding mission” culminating in a vibrant pop up show at Road Studios.

This was a self-created studio exchange which came about through meeting the organisers at an Open Studios event in Cork.
I was generously hosted throughout my residency time in Cork by friends and family of Éilis.
Fun Fact: In order to make travel, transportation and pop-up show budget friendly, all artwork made was folded and flat packed neatly inside one tiny cabbin bag to meet with the travel allowance restrictions on a budget flight!
